What are fat burning foods?

Hi,
I am trying to lose weight and I heard someone tell me to eat some fat burning foods to lose weight. But what are fat burning foods? How are they different from regular foods? And if possible can you give me a list of fat burning foods to help me? I heard some things like eat protein and drink water but no one told me why this is good for you. This is a great question and basically a fat burning food is a food that burns more calories than it contains. It also helps speed up your metabolism for great fat burning effect! You need a nice balance of carbs, fat, and protein. If you restrict too much of any one in particular, you body will will crave it. I’ve been researching losing weight for a long time now and I was able to lose 30 pounds in 3 months using simple nutritional advice and learning how the body works. Don’t do what many people do by eating one meal a day because it is the worst thing you could possibly do, believe me. Your body will slow down your metabolism because you are eating less and consuming less calories. You will lose weight as first but your body is built as a survival machine and it will try and keep you alive if you try to starve yourself. When your metabolism slows down, you will store fat and you will not LOSE weight fast. You have to eat food to lose weight. I know this sounds weird but any nutritionist, fitness trainer, and doctor will make you eat food in order to lose wight. Eat 3 meals a day and 3 snacks. Make sure you space them out 2 hours apart and drink plenty of water too. I’ve listed articles that help to burn fat and lose weight so focus on those foods like lean protein, vegetables, whole carbs..etc. Whatever you do, don’t go eating alot of sugary foods like cake, cookies, ice cream, fast food. I know it tastes good but it wont help you. Eat good clean food that will help raise your metabolism. You want to help boost your metabolism at all costs because that is your "fat burning engine." Focus on that and you will do just fine. The other important thing is you have to stay consistent. Don’t stop eating your 3 meals packed with good protein, some healthy carbs, and vegetables. Don’t stop snacking on healthy snacks in between either because that will help boost your metabolism. Also, don’t eat the same thing all the time, your body will get used to it and you will not lose as much weight so keep changing around your foods. For ex: Eat a yogurt for a snack one day, then a piece of fruit the next, then a handful of nuts, then a small salad…you get the idea. I go in much greater detail in the articles. By the way, an exercise program is good too. However, when you jog on the treadmill, don’t simply jog. Train like a sprinter for the olympics to lose weight. Sprint as fast as you can for about 30-60 seconds and then take a minute break by walking at a normal pace. Then repeat the process. This is called "interval training" and this will help get your heart pumping very fast and will burn calories better than just jogging. When working out, focus on big muscle groups. The biggest are legs, back, chest and abs. Every pound of muscle you gain burns about 50 calories a day so gaining some muscle will help burn calories. Hope this helps. Best of Luck!
