  2. There is no such thing as "burning belly fat". You can not pick and choose where your body burns fat from. This fact has been known for decades so I’m not sure why the info never got to you. Spot reduction…Targeted reduction….whatever you want to call it is nothing more than a silly myth. When your body burns fat it draws it evenly from all parts of your body.

  3. You cannot isolate and burn just belly fat. Overall weight loss will eventually result in loss of belly fat. The bad news here is - belly fat is the last fat to go, especially fat in lower abdominals. Keep in mind that as you grow older, metabolism slows. As metabolism slows, we have to eat healthier - such as fruits and veggies and less fast food and junk food. The foods that supposedly speed metabolism don’t work after a couple of weeks, or do not work at all. You have to exercise along with eating healthy. Just abdominal exercises won’t do, it may tone the abdominal muscles a bit but the underlying fat will remain. Surefire way to lose fat from all over and ultimately lose belly fat - always consume less calories than you burn during the day, there are no shortcuts or cheating here. And keep moving.
