<br />Most of what you have sounds healthy <img src='http://www.fatburningfoodsblog.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> be careful about the juices though, they tend to give you calories but not fill you up as much. Spices and chili are good because they speed up your metabolism. Be sure to let yourself have small treats now and then though!!! Good luck!</p>

<br />Plenty of water, fruits, vegetables - whole grain foods, try to keep white flour to a minimum. Don&#8217;t try starving yourself as your body needs food or your metabolism will drop, then weight loss will be quite hard.</p>
<p>3 meals and 2 healthy snacks a day. As a suggestion - keep sugars to a minimum, soda pop is high sugar and empty calories. If you can&#8217;t pronounce the ingredients, don&#8217;t eat/drink it. Keep a food diary - everything you put in your mouth for a week. Make changes after you see what you&#8217;ve eaten for that week.</p>
<p>Most of all - keep it real. If you don&#8217;t keep a complete list, you&#8217;re lying to yourself - you will really make heads and tails of things once you see your foods that you&#8217;ve eaten for that week.</p>

<p>Make sure you make it a gradual change, or you run the risk of crashing. And make sure you have a binge day as well (don&#8217;t go all out, just indulge your cravings). </p>
<p>That said, salad is a great snack when you&#8217;re trying to lose weight- just stay away from dressings. So stock up on stuff like lettuce, tomato, etc. Celery is great too.</p>
<p>Brown rice and white potatoes are good, as are unsalted nuts. Get some fruit as well, depending on your preference. Get low-fat meat and cut out any fat that you find on it. </p>
<p>Unless you have unusually enormous portion sizes, try to stick to about the same amount of food you normally have in a day to start with and gradually reduce it if you need to. You don&#8217;t want to suddenly decrease your food intake, as that will cause your body to gain fat as it tries to protect itself against what it believes to be impending starvation. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I don&#8217;t really have a designated meal plan since I have a long list of forbidden foods or ones that I avoid a lot(cheese,milk,butter,fried,candy,chocolate,sugar,juice,pop,sour cream,high cal, high sugar, high carb, bread, sweets,&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..etc) and I am semi-vegetarian so my dietitian was really concerned about what I would be willing to eat or not. To me I eat SOOOO much, so here was today&#8217;s intake so far.<br />
BREAKFAST<br />
Blueberry bagel with some low-fat peanut butter and sugar free jam<br />
1 Chocolate boost drink</p>
<p>SNACKS (so far)<br />
2 sugar free twizzlers<br />
100 calorie chocolate toffee bar<br />
a bowl of twistos baked snack bites (maybe 40 of them?)</p>
<p>LUNCH<br />
approx 5 small apricot halves<br />
sweet&amp;salty granola bar (170 cal)</p>
<p>Recovering anorexics are suppose to intake a minimum of 2000 calories, and I honestly feel I over ate today.<br />
I restricted down to 50 calories for a couple months and burned off that up to a net of -500.</p>
<p>I really don&#8217;t want to go into an inpatient program because I am suppose to be going to university next year, but I don&#8217;t want to relapse either.<br />
Can someone suggest if this is too little/too much for an intake, and make food suggestions, or meal plans that will help me? Please! Thank you so much.<br />
I dont know how to reply to people! I am under supervision by my dietition but she gave me some moving room in regards to foods because I have a tendency to purge after anything that is on my forbidden food zone. I have a meal plan I am suppose to follow, but to me its too much so I wanted some input! $: I hope that clears up any questions?<br />
<br />Someone who is recovering from Anorexia (Which is actually a mental disorder&#8230;not an eating disorder) would be under the direct supervision of a dietician. You wouldn&#8217;t be able to choose your own foods or meal plans. NONE of which would include the items you&#8217;ve listed.</p>
