How much EV Olive Oil everyday for fat loss?
I’ve seen on some sites that extra virgin olive oil can aid in fat loss. How much of it should I consume everyday to ensure steady loss of fat?
It’s important to understand how fat works in your body to truly answer your question. I suggest you get the book called "Eat Fat, Lose Fat" by Mary G. Enig, Ph.D. She is the world’s foremost expert on fats and oils.
Fats give you sustained energy, unlike carbs that give you quick fleeting energy. Here is the recommended daily fat consumption: 60% monounsaturated (olive oil); 30% saturated (RAW butter from grass fed cows, coconut oil); and 10% polyunsaturated (from nuts and seeds).
You should be eating a maximum of 75 grams of carbs each day. Get most of your calories from fats. LOW FAT diets are very destructive to the body and are NOT the correct way to lose weight. Just a simple thing like carrying a bag of nuts, seeds, and coconut flakes around and snacking on that when you get hungry will give you steady weight loss, reduce your hunger, cause you to eat less at meals, and give you good sustained energy during the day.
good luck to you
