Are eggs good for fat loss and muscle growth?

I have been eating a diet primarily of raw fruits and veggies it has been great for fat loss but I know my muscles wont develop to their true potential. I have heard mixed opinions about eggs and was hoping someone could offer me insight.
They can. Gary Taubes wrote some interesting books about fat loss and protein that might be worth your read (dense stuff though).
But in many people, food is a lot more complicated than simple, eat this, not that.

You need protein in your diet. Eggs are a good source of protein and are low in calories. However the yolks are high in cholestorol so don’t overdo it. One a day is fine if your cholestorol levels are healthy.

Eggs, apple pure juice and potatoes can build your muscles quite well but for that do workouts efficiently so that you dont gain weight .
