Gaining weight is something which can make all of us conscious of our body, however at the same time could be taken into manage if there is a committment.

  1. Healthy fat burning foods ….?
    I just quit smoking and am now looking to loose some weight increase my activity and become healthier all around. However I become very overwhelmed when it comes to the "food issue" . Fruits and veggies are a given, then I hear that not all are good for you. Then it’s avoid the calories and the carb and the fat and the sugar …… but then there’s the "good" fat and carbs and calories and sugar ……… But I can NEVER get a spacific answer !!! Can you see where I might be a little lost ? What foods help burn fat the most and are truley healthy and what foods can be mistaken for healthy but are actually hindering to a healthy life style ? I need spacific examples not just "eat your fruit and veggies !!"
    This also goes for beverages too. I have a hard time drinking water. Also since I did just quit smoking are there any foods that are good at clensing out the body ?

    Celery burns calories because it is hard to digest, and peanut butter is hi in protein and keeps you feeling fuller longer because peanut oil is hard for hydrochloric acid to break down
    Start cooking with Non hydrogenated organic canola oil, it has a high heat tolerance and is high in omega threes. Start taking fish oil. Brown Rice is super good, i like to make stir fry with garlic and ginger and tofu.(with broccoli and onions, beans sprouts) The three foods that thwart lung cancer are Tofu, Beans, and green and brown tea. I eat more fish and chicken, I stay away from red meat but i also take a b-12 supplement and iron supplement. Look on food ingredient labels. THe more chemicals, the more weight you will put on. Avoid diet soda, and and artificial sweetener. Splenda is used as a pesticide in china, and Nutrasweet (aspartame) causes everything from mood swings, eptileptic like seizures, and brain cancer and also puts on more weight. (It is made from formaldehyde, charcoal) There are 92 documented side effects of consuming aspartame or Nutrasweet. Avoid "High fructose corn syrup, it breaks down your liver. Hydrogenated oils kill brain cells, They are made by placing whatever has an oil in it (say, to make vegetable oil, they put soybeans in a vat of Hydrogen and the oil comes to the top and they scrape it off and bottle it) I swear, when you avoid sweets, the weight comes right off without even trying. However, a piece or two of dark chocolate a day is soo good for your health and hormones. By all means avoid radioactive fast food.

  5. Haha I used to be the same exact way! Now, im pretty much health obsessed. Well, I’ve been sticking to a diet of about 1000 calories a day… which I usually narrow down to:

    a 300 calorie breakfast
    a 300 calorie lunch
    a 300 calorie dinner
    and then a 100 calorie snack whenever you want it.

    Ive already been losing weight. I eat healthy foods, drink only water, and eliminated fast food from my diet.

    I usually eat subway for lunch and dinner because its next to my work. Just a 6 inch for lunch and a 6 inch for dinner. A turkey sandwich at subway is about 300 calories… but adding cheese or dressings add more calories so I dont get any of that… just some vinegar. Good luck!
