  1. why am i never full and constantly feel the need to eat?
    im a 21 year male. im 6 foot 4 and 160 pounds. nutritionists indicate im 40 pounds underweight for my height. you would think that after eating a lot of food, that i would be full right? well im not hungry, but then again im not full. i realize that i eat a lot of junk food and that i am what i eat, but come on. you would think after i eat seven hamburgers and wash it down with seven beers, that my belly would swell up to gigantic proportions, but it doesn’t. part of my problem is, if i eat and notice that im not full and my stomach doesn’t feel like its gonna explode, then i keep eating, and eating. im never truly full unless i go to red lobster or chili’s and spent 40 bucks and about three days worth of saturated fat in one sitting.i eat a lot of carbohydrates, but im severely lacking in fat, if you couldn’t tell by my weight. here’s a quick example of what i eat today.

    I woke up at 3:30 am today to get ready to go to work at 4 am. i did not have breakfast, but i had a multivitamin one a day pill before i left, and took a 5 hour energy shot while at work. i left work at 9:15 am hungry and having already burned more calories than consumed on top of my skinny frame).
    i had a bowl of cereal after work, but that wasn’t enough. i had a hungry-man’s frozen dinner at 11 am. that wasn’t enough and i was still hungry. i had a combo meal just now at taco bell, but im still hungry. i need to figure out how to eat to fill me up and also to gain fat, as im low on fat but high on muscles which could contribute to my unusual high metabolism. i mean its like i wake up to go to work and when i get there im already hungry. it seems like i don’t do much but it drives up my appetite, because even on my days off, im still stuffing my face with food. i truly don’t know where its going, because wherever it goes, it doesn’t stay there long lol! while im not complaining, and i am grateful that i can eat all i want and not gain a pound while some other poor soul has to meticiously watch every calorie.i seem to be eating a lot of junk, such as hungry-man’s dinner. loading up on fat wont help me much, i can go down a triple cheeseburger combo at wendy’s and still be looking for something to eat. im not going to waste my money buying groceries, as i can get more food than for the price of going grocery shopping. later tonight, i can eat a whole large pizza by myself and still be hungry as hell the next morning. what should i do? no matter how much i eat, im never truly full. i keep eating and eating and eating until my brain tells my stomach its full.

  2. Have you ever considered taking Creatine or some kind of protein shake that helps you add bulk? I think it might help. My boyfriend seems to have the same problem as you, he is tall, thin, and eats like a horse. I asked my sister who is a nurse as to why he never gains weight when he clearly eats 3000+ cals a day, and she says its because he has a super fast metabolism, and that its a good thing to have! In my opinion, your metabolism is in awesome shape, and for people like you it will always be hard to gain "fat", but muscle might be easier with protein or Creatine shakes.
