Swimming and burning calories and weight loss, help?
I am a 18 year old girl (5 feet 2 inches, 158 pounds) I am still a size six, used to be a four but i gained almost 30 pounds due to bad eating habits after a ugly break up. I recently switched schools and we did not really do as much swimming as we did at my old school during polo. So i didn’t lose or tone up as much as i wanted to. I have been going to the gym six times a week for the last two and a half months and havent really dropped any weight. I burn about 500 calories doing cardio then do a lot of ab and weight work. Im starting swimming this monday and i want to know if you really burn a lot of calories (i used a calculator online and it said for every 1 hour and 25 minutes of moderate freestyle you burn 800 calories) should i still consume only 1500-1700 calories with both swim practice and the gym twice a day most days of the week? any tips on weight loss? i want to be lose stomach fat and back fat and maybe some thigh fat? i am really muscular and toned on my legs and arms but i would still like to shed off some pounds. It would be nice to be able to wear a bikini this summer. Any foods that i should eat?
carry on your GYM and the Swimming exercise. there are two things which needs to be taken care of are 1) Stop taking tension or stress- it never helps you in your weight loss infarct it gets your routine awry and helps in weight gain. 2) stop eating junk and oily foods and small meals for 4 times a day. use more fruits in your diet like papaya and orange. Hope that you look stunning in bikini this summer. Do let me know about you progress.
