  1. How to regulate my metabolism and eat low caloric foods?
    Hey guys, I’m 19 years old, my names Kaz. (male)
    I’ve signed up to Yahoo because I really need some help with this question of mine. Alright, so I’m overweight and I’m doing the best I can to try and change that but I’m going about it all the wrong ways. The thing is, I’m petrified of gaining more weight, my goal is to lose my ugly figure and be fit within half a year. The thing I want to explain is.. I tried the "One meal a day," thing, I ate one bowl of low fat supernoodles (daily) over a period of like six or seven months & thats it! These have 0.7 grams of fat per serving. Anyway I lost like over 100lbs no problem, I felt happier, I was able to wear good looking clothes, etcetc. The thing is though, It’s still not enough. This week I’ve decided to step it up a notch and I’ve only eaten an apple a day so far & I’m doing everything I can to stick to it. (I’m dedicated & headstrong). Anyway, that proves that starvation does work, but I’m here to ask you guys if you know of any foods I can eat which aren’t jammed with calories. See the thing is, I searched on Yahoo how many calories were in rice & it turned out to be four hundred. I burn 100 cals every morning on the excercise bike & lift weights after that. But I don’t know if that burns 400 calories? I’m aware that you must eat less calories than you burn but that means I can’t eat rice cause I’m not burning enough calories to work it off. So thats my first question.

    My second is that I’m doing everything I can to regulate my metabolism. I’m taking multi-vitamins & minerals. I’m staying in a cold temperature so my body has to fight to keep warm, I’m drinking lots of water, when I wake up I add half a lemon to lukewarm water with cheyenne pepper, I’m excercising with weights. I know that what I am doing means that my body will gradually burn less and less calories due to the metabolism slow down but thats exactly why I’m working my ass off to regulate it as best I can. I am wondering if theres anything else I can do?? The apple I eat daily, I chop up in chunks and eat throughout the day, not in one big bite. Thats another small way I try to keep my metabolism going. Anyway, please help guys & please don’t tell me what I’m doing is stupid because it works, I just need some other foods/practices to make this easier for me. :(

  2. Wow.. You have a lot of determination! I would love to be able to eat one meal a day but I would probably faint!

    Something you can eat a lot would be sauerkraut, its so nice and it burns off more calories to chew it and swallow it then it actually gives you, its a kind of pickled cabbage you can have it hot or cold and trust me its really really nice!

    The main thing is to keep eating a little bit every hour or so, so that your metabolism doesn’t go to sleep =)

  3. I live in the UK so you might not know some of these

    Low fat yogurt
    All berries
    no sugar jelly ( 4 cal a tub )
    Salads ( eat as much as you want )
    Low fat salas cream ( contains more sugar though )
    Chicken breast
    Tuna in brine
    Snack a jacks ( taste nice, come in different flavors
    Harvest toffee chewy bars ( really nice - only 90 calories each )
    snack a jacks popcorn ( only 29 cal per pack, very low in fat )

    For your metabolism…

    Green tea
    coffee in moderation ( can have reverse effects with weight loss for some people though )
    Grapefruit ( with Splendor sugar - much better for you )
    No alchol
