I’m 15, healthy but i have a little bit of belly fat?

Okay so I have some belly fat I am on the track team and we have practice 5 times a day.I am 15, 5′1 and my weight ranges from 99-103 lbs. What exercises can I do to burn fat? Do I have to go on a specific diet or eat certain foods? Should I intake more calories? Please help I’d appreciate it

I have the same. Honestly, it’s probably genetics; does your mom or dad have it too? The best I can tell you is to focus on exercises that work your whole core (planks, modified planks, etc) as opposed to things like sit ups. It probably wont go away totally though, just learn to love your stomach for what it is :)

What are some healthy foods that will help me put on weight?

I have a very high metabolism so I burn fat pretty quickly and have always been thin. It was never a problem before because I always ate a lot. However, lately I have been stressed and busy so I have stopped eating as much and lost almost 15 pounds over the past half a year. I want to gain back that weight healthily. So what foods would be good for that, or is there an eating schedule I should follow?

Well i cant really name some but stick with lean meats, tuna, salmon, tilapia any sort of fish really, complex carbs like pasta and whole wheat bread, u know stuff like that. Some avocado for healthy fats.

What is the best diet pill/supplement/thermogenic/etc to make me drop 15-25 pounds?

I’m 21, about 5′4 and weigh 139 pounds. I exercise atleast 3-4 days a week including cardio, weight training, circuits, stretching, and yoga. I eat very healthy and always have and I am a vegetarian, I eat small meals and eat the right amount of calories, I’ve tried to eat less calories, I’ve tried to eat more, I’ve tried to eat the average amount of calories, and nothing has helped. To look at me you wouldn’t guess I weigh this much but am NOT muscular nor fat, I look like your average girl. So the muscle weighs more than fat doesn’t fit with me. Although, my BMI says I’m normal I want to be around 115-125 or less if possible. Please suggest some supplements, thermogenics, diet pills, etc because I’ve tried all the "fat burn" foods and it doesn’t do much at all. Please if you’re going to comment rudely don’t comment at all. Thank you I really could use some advice!

What’s a good ABDOMINAL FAT BURNING workout?

Ok summers just around the corner and i dont even have THAT much but i have do have some abdominal fat and i would really like to burn it off now…. i’ve been doing curl ups and push ups and all this crap that’s not working. im 15 i dance, and play soccer but my seasons are off currently so i work out but it’s not really working….. and food, work out tips???? I JUST WANT IT ALL GONE.

Do the Fat X Program from www.FatX101.com. In less than a month i’ve lost 15 lbs, and 2 inches from my waist. I’ve lost a lot of fat, I’m way more toned and I can see my six pack forming. The workout videos are free which is really cool. Give it a go.

How can a 15 year lose a little belly fat?

I have a plan to try out for my school’s soccer team. I love to play soccer and i quit just 4 months ago. I want to lose a couple pounds, I’m not obese I’m just a little over weight. I have the whole summer to prepare. Over the months i stop exercising and gained a couple pounds.

To make the team you need to run 2 miles in about 15-20. That’s the basic qualifying activity.

I would like to know:
1- What foods can i eat that burn fat?
2- I want to strengthen my arms and legs. How? Whats the best way? (I’m a goal keeper)
3- Do you think i can achieve this by the end of summer?

Thanks.

Pasta is full of carbohydrates. Always eat carbohydrates before you run, its like an energy boost. If I were you, I’d just go out and run as far as you can, then run back. Don’t worry about times in the beginning. Once August hits, start getting those times down. To strengthen your arms and legs, go to Wal-Mart and buy dumbbells for your arms, and search on YouTube. Millions of helpful videos there. For your legs, its a little different. For your thighs, I would go on my hands and knees. Then, put all your weight on your right side, and lift your left leg up 90 degrees. This is called the Leg Dog Lift Exercise. Basically, you look like a dog trying to urinate. This exercise is extremely beneficial to your thighs. For your calves, go on your toes, then rock down. Rock up, rock down. Do it continuously. Yes, I think you can achieve your goals by the end of the summer.

What are some foods that burn belly fat?

I’m trying to lose a little weight around my gut, and I’m wondering what are some foods that burn belly fat? This is really frustrating, as I haven’t been able to lose those last 15 pounds!

Any help would be awesome!

When you walk through the grocery store, there are hardly any healthy options (it seems). I recently read that 98% of what is sold in grocery stores, if consumed on a regular basis, would cause you to gain weight and be at risk of diabetes and other health problems.

Anyways, here are some foods that burn belly fat.

1.) Almonds
2.) Oatmeal
3.) Eggs (especially egg whites)
4.) Lean meats (ex: chicken breast)
5.) Whey protein

There are many more good foods out there, this is just the beginning. I hope this helps!

The MOST important thing is to eat naturally..without medicines, chemicals, "starving" your self etc.

first, it would be best for you to eat as healthy as possible..this will also help you considerably to lose weight gradually and naturally..

eat fresh fruits, vegetables, drink plenty of WATER..avoid all cokes, caffeines, smoking, alchohol etc. as these also add weight as well as they contain chemicals which disturb your natural bio rythmns as well as brain chemistry. try not to eat too much meat, and the meat you should eat should be "lean meat" such as steamed chicken and rice, or steamed fish with rice..and vegetables,, this should be your staple diet rice and vegetables with fruits..AVOID "JUNK FOOD" and "Fast Food" as this type of food is very unhealthy, lacking in vitamins really and has plenty of fattening molecules which make one gain weight and is very bad for overall health.

if you snack,, try fruits with yogurt or fruit yogurt and nuts.. nuts are very healthy for your body .and contain proteins.

go for walks every evening or morning or whenever you get time each day for 1 hour or 2 hours..make this somewhere you enjoy walking even if you have to drive a bit to there..and make this a daily routine..you will enjoy it once you get into it ..and it makes you feel great after..just walking for 1 hour or 2 hours.

if you do this..every day for one month ..you should lose around 10 pounds (.714 stone) per month until you get to your natural healthy weight.. look up on the internet for an idea of what your weight for your height should be ..and when you get to this weight,,your body will look very nice and you will feel very good.

10 pounds (.714 stone ) each month in 3 months you should lose 30 pounds (2 stones, 2 pounds)..for sure…but no junk food and dont drink alcohol or smoke, dont eat junk..just healthy food with vitamins and walking 1 hour or 2 hours every day..and drink plenty of water..this is guaranteed way to lose weight naturally and for good, if you stick to this, which you should,,as it makes you feel so much more positive due to the vitamins and lack of chemicals making you feel depressed…

btw, forgot to mention,,just in case you dont know how to really make healthy meals..buy a "food steamer" at your local deparment store..they are very cheap and work very well..as well as buy a "rice cooker" which is also very cheap..eating rice is a great way to get your necessary carbs "healthy carbs" to lose weight and has lots of natural energy inside. you can buy asian rice at most large supermarkets or if you have a local oriental market..they sale quality asian rice.. thai or indian rice is good "jasmine rice".. buy corn or canola oil to sprinkle on vegetables or rice before steaming to add to taste as well as you can buy several nice spices like "cumin" or "Curry powders", etc.just sprinkle on the vegetables before steaming to give nice taste.

drink "Green Tea" as this is very healthy and helps burn extra fat faster…you can buy quality green tea at most oriental shops or large supermarkets as well

How to effectively loose fat without loosing muscle?

I’m 15. I’m pretty active - I run 5 km twice a day, then do strength exercises. I have some fat that i’d like to loose, and preferably speed it up with a better diet. I was wondering what the best type of foods are for loosing fat but not muscle, as I’ve heard your body burns away muscle for energy before it starts on the fat :/

Clean diet and exercise.
You’ve got enough cardio so now you need to weight train.
Atleast 3 times a week you should do 45-60 minutes of weight training.
If you can try and get to a gym..if not you will deffiantly need atleast 5lb weights..

If your trying not to loose muscle while loosing weight than you have to maintain the muscle so make sure your doing weights…

Also yu need a clean diet.
Always eat every 2-3 hours
Always have breakfast
only drink water, low fat dairy, and green tea.
Switch to whole wheat/grains

Include these foods in your diet
- egg whites ( atleast 2 at a time, since theyre small and low cal )
- greek yogurt
- nuts
- oatmeal
- lean meats
- fish
- fruit/veggies - ALOT, have one at every meal, if you can have two
- Whole wheat english muffins/toast
- Whole wheat mini bagels
- String cheese

Burn fat without burning muscle?

I am 25 and started working out since I was 18. I do mostly weight training. I am 5 10 in height and came to weigh 170 lbs with 15-17 percent body fat. I want to get down to around 160 so i can fall under 10 percent body fat but I am really afraid I will lose muscle since it took me so long to gain this weight in muscle. I know all about the diet. Eating more protein and less carbs and fat. Leaving that aside people say that you cant run more than 30 mins if not you will burn muscle. I am thinking of starting to do interval training for those 30 mins but I still think its to little of a time to workout. I also heard working out before you eat in the morning is good because you burn all fat that is already in your body instead of just burning food you already ate. Does that mean that when you run you burn fat calories that you just ate and then start burning fat from your body? Bottom line is that I want to know how to get to burn all fat without having to lose muscle. Anyone has any pointers from past experience I would really appreciate it.

id recomended this…. for the first 2-3 weeks u need to burn body fat…. so try going for runs for 30 mins a session first thing in the morining…. that way the body feeds of body fat for energy….
and take more protein after

after the 2-3 weeks…. after your workout with weights… do cardio for 15 mins…. u burnt through your intial carbs, glycogen through lifting weights…. so u only need a touch of cardio after..
make sure after your workouts… have extra glutamine and whey protein to preserve muscle

cardio burns carbs the first 10- 20 mins.. after that time 30-40 u burn fat… but u will not need extended cardio

Weight loss…and body issues. Help?

Okay so I’m not as thin as I could be..Im 140 lbs, and I want to be atleast 110 lbs. Im 15 and 5′4..
I was 160 in December but cut back on the sugar and lost 20 pounds. In body mass…But I havent lost any body fat…Im mostly insecure about my stomach, but arent all teenage girls? I used to be thin, but not anymore..Im not HUGE, but I still want to change my body appearance…I need a list of fat burning foods, exersise I wont get bored with, how many times I should work out a week and for how long. And how long it would take me to lose 25 pounds before summer starts.
Okay,
Thanks,
Kailey <3

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.
If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which
will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow
underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without
exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For
diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don’t eat wheat then you don’t eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don’t eat junk food, and you don’t eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It’s not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).
