can you plzz revise this for me?

Those mouth-watering fried chickens look very tasty, but are so unhealthy. Many restaurants sell harmful food, but I do not think they should be responsible for people who get sick from eating it! Sure the fast food restaurants put large portions of bad ingredients in their food, but they are not making anyone eat it. Many restaurants have a healthy meal added to their list for people to order too! Eating at fast food restaurants may not be the only cause for health issues.
First, fast food restaurants have large portions of ingredients in the food that people may or may not want. According to Weightless Resources, fast food restaurants add too much sugar or salt in foods. Not everyone wants that amount of sugar or salt in their food, and sometimes people get sick from eating too much of it. People tend to blame the restaurants for what they ate, when they are the one who chose to eat it. These places do not go around shoving food down our throats, just forcing us to eat it. We have a choice. People need to take more responsibility for what they eat. They need to stop blaming the restaurants for their health issues and take it on themselves. Those restaurants out there cannot stop people from how much they eat and buy. They know their body and how much it could take.
Second, there are a lot of food options at Fast food restaurants. The menu offers poor food choices . It also contains a choice of good, healthy foods too. The only problem with the menu is that the unhealthy food choices are usually the most affordable. Some establishments are starting to see that people want to make healthy choices and offer salads, and fruits. They are also trying to include heathy choices for kids and their meals by offering them juices and milk instead of pop; fruit cups instead of fries. You still have the option of whichever you want, but if you are going to look for good food then you may need to spend more money. Many people know their bodies and can make informed diet choices. So if we do not think we can take any more of those Freedom Fries or chicken nuggets, then try going for the good food instead.
Third, Fast food restaurants maybe a big cause to health issues, but there are plenty of other causes that do not involve them. For instance some people could sit and stare at the television set for hours, after they ate. The sugar and calories get stored into their fat and are waiting to be used as energy. The only problem is that it is not going anywhere. Without exercise all that fat does not get burned off. That person could start to get fatter and soon become overweight. It could slowly start to affect their body, and soon their heart! As you can see there are other causes for bad health issues other than Fast food restaurants.
In conclusion,
Fast food restaurants should not be responsible for our health. It is our choice what we eat. Restaurants provide other menu options for us. Fast food restaurants may be a cause to some of our health problems but not all. AS you can see we should not blame these restaurants. They provide us many things, and the knowledge is out their.

I can do my best.

Best foods for burning fat

Fat. Healthy fat wil help you burn fat in a calorie deficit diet. Remember, it does not matter what you eat if you are not below your maintnance calorie level (burning off more thann you take in) you cannot lose fat. Grapefruit and green tea are supposed to have fat mobiling effects as well.

Hi, Im 15 years old. Im thinking of lifting weights…Help please? See Details..?

Okay, Im 15 years old, 6′ 2” and im 289 lbs. Yes i know what you are thinking. I cant stand being this fat anymore. My boss wants to go weight lifting with me. Im up for it. He says that lifting weights will help me burn off all my fat and build up muscle. Thats what i would like to do. Like the shape of my arms and legs, id like that to be all muscle instead of fat. I understand if im going to do this i have to work my entire body’s muscles. So i need some help on how i would be able to do this. Like what kind of weights i should use to start off with, where i should target, what kind of foods should i be eating, how long should my weight training session should be. all those stuff. I hardly drink soda, only when at partys but at home id drink about 3 quarts of flavored water..Oh yes, another question, how long do you think it would take for me to see some results? Thanks

Ok it’s really hard to build muscle and lose fat at the same time. If you want to bulk up and become muscly, I highly reccomend you lose about 100 pounds, then you should go to the gym and bulk up if you please. Again it’s easier and quicker to lose fat…that invloves cutting calories (at least 500 a day) and in a week you should lose a pound or two. A pounds of fat is 3500 calories, so cutting 500 a day for a week is a pound of fat, and 1-2 pounds a week is safe.
Now building muscle of course requires more calories then you need to sustain your weight (roughly) and a dire increase in protein combined with high intensity workouts.

I also advise you to go to the book store and read a book that consists of health/nutrition/exercise material.
Last June a year ago, I just turned 16 (June 4th) and was about 254 at 6′3. Now after reading a diet book (One Body, One Life: 6 weeks to the new you) I started eating better and exercised 5 days a week- following the exercise plan in the book. Now today I am 220, and feel great. Last november I gave up soda.
Now for you it will take at least a year to lose or 2 to become fully normal weight. By when you are a senior in high school I reccomend you start weight lifting. You do not want to add muscle on top of fat, because you will be even heavier and you muscles will be hidden. So again, calories is the key to weight loss. Find how many calories you need a day to sustain your weight, 289, and subtract 500. Maybe 600. It may take 2 weeks before you see a noticable change on the scale, and usually after 5 pounds+ you will notice a slight difference. This takes commitment and dedication. Aviod sweetners and fake artifical junk…like high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils.

If you really really want to lose the weight STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING DAIRY!!. Milk is bad. NotMilk.com.

Also I reccomend more lean meats, no carbs after 6, track your food and calories at FitDay.com, it’s better to exercise in the early morning after you wake up than later in the day because of when you sleep you make this growth hormome thing and will be used better to burn the fat.

Ok one more thing, when you do cardio your muscles will become catabolic and will break down along with fat. If you do not want to lose muscle mass in the weight loss process I highly advise you to finish any workout with 20g whey protein isolate, or a casein protein 40 minutes before hand to try and prevent muscle catabolism. Remember losing "weight" doesn’t mean losing fat…it can mean muscle and fat too, and that’s not too good. Check out taking 4-6 grams of CLA and 2-3 pills of Fish Oils per day. Drink green tea unsweetned. and check out Ezechiel 4:9 whole grain bread. Whole Grain bread is much better than whole wheat. Check the ingredients flavored water…some of the chemicals may be bad. Try sparking water with lime. Also eat foods with a low glycemic index. You do not want a huge insulin spike after eating, because that can tell your system to store fat.

Good luck! Remember this is rewarding but it will take at least a year to be at what you want.

Erik.

does your body burn fat for energy before it burns muscle?

I’m 5′8" about 191 pounds with 15% body fat. My question is if were to become extremely sick for a week or so and didn’t eat very much food during that time… would my body begin to use fat for energy or would it start breaking down the muscle first?

Your body would break down both fat and muscle. The body usually tends to break down muscle as a last resort, but if you’re sick (or physically inactive) and not using the muscle then it’s fair game to be recycled into an energy source when your body starts to run out of carbs.

The more protein and fiber you eat, the fuller you’ll feel for longer and will also give you more energy. Protein also helps build lean muscle, so when you start, add cardio and strength training. Muscle weighs more than fat but takes up less room so keep that in mind. Check out special K and Kashi Go Lean products if you want to go this route
Number one way to keep weight off though is eating right and excersizing regularly. Plus working out makes you feel better
If your an impulse emotional eater try starting a journal. That way when you would normally eat at an emotional time, you write your feelings instead. This tip has come into recent mainstream news.
Spicy foods boost your metabolism so you’ll burn more calories
Eat as much fruits and veggies as possible paired with some lean protein and if you had a card, keep it multi-grained. Not whole grain or wheat, multi-grain. Check out kashi products again.
Check out mediterraneans diets too. Those might fit well in your lifestyle
MSG is an additive that replicates what chefs are considering another taste (sweet, salty, bitter, spicy) called umami. Its actually not bad for you and makes food taste better. Parmesean cheese, mushrooms, tomatos, chicken noodle soup and other foods fit into the umami category. good for diets because its lots of taste without too many calories. MSG is a replica of a chemical make up found in umami like foods. hit a search engine, type in MSG and Umami and see what you find.
Also caffeine in moderation will boost your metabolism. Only one or two cups of coffee a day will do the trick. Keep off hungry and get you moving. Plus burn calories.
Drink a lot of water. cold or warm. Doesnt matter. The more water, the less your body holds onto it and the less you weigh. Plus it will keep hunger away.
