the gym wat i need to do to lose weight?

have been going to the for a couple of months now have been aiming to lose weight so that will feel better, and truth be told also to gain more confidence, when at the gym i do the treadmill for period of time up to 25 minutes at speed 6.7 and gradient at 4-6 also use the rower and use it for 10-15 minutes and also keep my rows above thirty and using bike at level four and use some of the weight machines and not the weights goal is to lose the weight first and them turn to building muscle
usually go to gym 3-4 times a week have started to lose the weight but personally think that it is not coming at the pace i want
food wise in the morning i have yogurt and apple lunch a wrap and tean would usually have rice or pasta dish in samll quantites with salad.
wat i want to find out is there something i am doing wrong or should be doing and is their any maximuscle products for burning fat of.
decided its time to shed the pounds like the skinny person in me wants out all suggestions plz.

  3. Wrtie down EVERYTHING you eat, you’d be suprised how many calories sneak in without you realizing it, like in your drinks, etc.. Also read nutrition labels, most of the time you’re getting more then the actual serving. Step it up in the gym, spend more time on the machines or lots of times you can pay for only one session with a trainer and they will give you a program to follow and advice on supplements. Add weights now, building more muscle will burn more fat, you should be doing both cardio and weights to maximize weight loss. Eat more protein it helps too.

  5. Good for you for being so healthy - I’ve not got the self-discipline!
    Seeing as you’re putting the effort in and not seeing the results I suggest you get an appointment with your doctor to see what he/she recommends. You’ll also get advice on whether you actually need to lose any weight or if you just need to keep this up to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Either way they should be able to identify why you’re not getting the results you wanted from a change of diet and exercise.

  8. First I want to say I think it’s great that you have started getting a routine in. Well done. It is alse great that you do different excercises as it helps you to use different muscles in your body.

    I would suggest that you try to do some excercises that will build some muscle as well as this will increase your matabolism and thereby your weight loss. Do light weights and several repetitions, say 3-4kg weights with 30 times 3 reps on biceps as an example. I used to do spinning classes which is a great way to get some muscle toning as well as cardio and is a very effective way to loose weight. It also helps motivation to be in a class. Try some classes see what you like.

    I would also change your food slightly, I’d suggest you try to have pasta or rice for lunch instead of for your tea as otherwise you will not burn of the carbs in the evening. It will also give you some energy for the gym (if you train in the evenings) or refill your energy levels if you have been training in the morning. Basic rule, no carbs after 6pm. Have fish, or chicken with roasted veg in the oven and some sallad, very good for you and tastes lovely. A bit of houmus of a light salad dressing on the side and you have a good evening meal.

    I guarantee that if you try this you will loose weight quicker and feel better as well as you sleep much better if you don’t have carbs in the evening.
