131 lbs is a healthy weight for your height. You would still be healthy 15 lbs lighter but you are not overweight. If you feel fat, maybe you just need to tone up by working out. Exercise IS the key to burning fat, along with a healthy, well balanced diet and a low calorie intake.

Simply cutting out sugar and starch (bread/pasta) in your diet will do the trick as long as you’re also active. Read the ingredients list of the foods you’re eating. Stay away from anything that says high fructose corn syrup. That is what contributes to your belly fat and has no nutritional value for your body.
